- South Sioux City finished
7th with a team score of 485 in the NE Class A District 3 Golf Meet at
Riverside Golf Club in Grand Island, NE. The Lady Cardinals were
led by Angela DeHarty with a round of 106. Jessica Hammer shot a
122, Emily Schroeder carded 125, and Katie Robertson rounded out the
scoring with a 132.
- The SSC girls golf team
played in the 12 team Omaha Westside Invite at Willow Lakes in Bellevue.
The Girls finished 8th with a score of 458. Papillion Lavista won the
Invite with a score of 367. Kayla Knopik of Papillion was the medalist
with a score of 78. Leading the way for the Cardinals was Angela
DeHarty (104) and Emily Schroeder (102). Followed by Jessica
Hammer and Emily Schroeder
- The Lady Cardinals played
the River Cities Conference at Stone Creek Golf Club in Omaha.
Winning the conference was Beatrice with a score of 352, then Skutt with
a 365. South Sioux City was 5th with a score of 446. This was a 36
stroke improvement from our first meet. Medalist was Becca Pollack
from Omaha Skutt, then Chloe Emerson from Beatrice. Leading South Sioux
City was Emily Schroeder where she finished tied for 10th & carded a 98.
Angela DeHarty added a 106, Jessica Hammer a 120, and Katie Robertson a
122.
- South Sioux City girls golf team traveled to
Omaha's Eagle Run golf course on Thursday, September 14th. Omaha Roncalli hosted the triangular with Omaha Skutt and South Sioux City.
Omaha Skutt won the triangular shooting 172, then South Sioux City and
Omaha Roncalli followed with scores of 194. Kelly Sanson of Skutt was
the medalist with a 36. Scoring for South Sioux City was Emily Schroeder
45, Angela DeHarty 47, Jessica Hammer 48, Kayla Hoch 54. Katie Robertson
of South Sioux City was the par shooter for the week.
- SSC finished 9th in the twelve team field
shooting 468. Papillion LaVista won the 15-team event with a score of
351. Kayla Knopik of Papillion was the medalist with a score of 78. Low
scorer for South Sioux was Jessica Hammer with a round of 114, Angela
DeHarty added a 115, par shooter for SSC Kayla Hoch carded 119, and
Emily Schroeder added a 120.
- SSC 2nd in triangular with Brownell-Talbot and
Omaha Gross.
Brownell came out on top with 224, then SSC with 234, and Omaha Gross.
Low scorer for South Sioux City was Kayla Hoch. Par leader for the week
is Jessica Hammer.
- SSC Lady Cardinals Win the Oakland-Craig
Triangular
SSC scored 233, 13 shots better than last week, Oakland had 240, and
Pender had 247.
Leading SSC was Angela DeHarty with a 53 (runner-up medalist).
Kayla Hoch carded a 54,
Jessica Hammer a 61, and Emily Schroeder a 62.
- Wayne won the meet yesterday 217-246 over the
Lady Cardinals. Angie DeHarty was the low scorer for SSC.
