Harney Elementary Library

    Library teaches students necessary skills to succeed in using a library.  Themes, based on books by popular children's authors, provide the foundation of the curriculum.  The Library Media Center is the center of learning and information gathering at Harney Elementary.  Books and other library materials are checked out weekly.  If children need to keep them longer, The materials can be renewed.  If books or material are damaged, children are responsible for replacing them.

    La biblioteca les enseña a los estudiantes lo que tienen que hacer cuando van a la biblioteca.  Temas basados en libros por autores populares son la base de lo que aprenden.  La biblioteca es el lugar central de aprendizaje y información en la escuela Harney.  Libros y otros materiales son prestados a los estudiantes por semana.  Si los estudiantes necesitan el libro más de una semana pueden renovarlo.  Si los estudiantes maltratan un libro, los estudiantes son responsables por reponerlos.
