Lewis & Clark Expedition Dog, "Seaman"

Seaman, Captain Lewis' Newfoundland dog served as a watchdog, hunter, and companion to members of the Lewis & Clark Expedition.  To honor Seaman, The Sioux City Art Center developed fiberglass cast of the dog and Mr. Harry Gray and students from South Sioux City High School were honored to paint him.
