2007 Season Results

  • River Cities Conference Tournament:
    Alex Bahney led SSC by winning the no. 2 singles title.  Nic Peters finished 3rd in the no. 1 singles

  • Elkhorn Mount Michael Downs the Cardinals 7-2:  Record 2-5
    Nic Peters and Alex Bahney each won their singles match

  • Omaha Ralston Slips Past SSC 5-4:  Record 2-4
    Alex Bahney, Dillon Lieber, & Adrien Barrera all won their singles match by scores of 8-2; Lieber & Jon Pfeifer won their doubles match 8-1.

  • Cardinals Rally Past Omaha Skutt 5-4:  Record 2-3
    Nic Peters & Alex Bahney, Dillon Lieber & Jon Pfeifer, and Adrien Barrera & Brit Conover all won their doubles match to fuel the comeback victory.  Single winners were Alex Bahney 8-4 & Dillion Lieber 9-7

  • Norfolk Slips Past SSC 6-3:  Record 1-3
    Winning singles was Alex Bahney & Dillon Lieber.  Doubles team of Lieber-Pfeifer were also winners
    JV lost 5-1:  Brit Conover & Justin Heitman were winners in doubles

  • Omaha Gross Squeaks by the Cardinals 5-4:  Record 1-2
    Alex Bahney, Dillon Lieber, Jon Pfeifer, & Adrien Barrera all got singles wins.

  • SSC Rout Omaha Roncalli 8-1:  Record 1-1
         Nic Peters, Alex Bahney, Dillon Lieber, Jon Pfeifer, & Adam Anderson each won their singles and doubles matches.  Adam Anderson teamed up with Adrien Barrera for a win at the 3rd doubles.

  • Beatrice tops SSC 5-4 in season opener:  Record 0-1
         1 Singles:  Nic Peters won 8-6
    2 Singles:  Alex Bahney won 8-6
    3 Singles:  Dillon Lieber lost 9-8 (7-4)
    4 Singles:  Jon Pfeifer won 8-3
    5 Singles:  Adrien Barrera lost 8-3
    6 Singles:  Adam Anderson lost 8-4

    1 Doubles:  Alex - Nic won 8-2
    2 Doubles:  Dillon - Jon lost 8-2

2006 Season Results & Highlights

  • Cardinal Finish Fifth in RCC Tennis Meet
    Leading SSC was the No. 2 Doubles Team of Mike Dailey & Jon Pfeifer which placed 4th.  Nic Peters placed 5th in No. 1 Singles & Alex Bahney placed 5th in No. Singles.
     

  • Cardinals Top Norfolk 5-4:  Season Record 2-3
    Alex Bahney, Austin Heeney, & Jon Pfeifer were all singles winners.  SSC won 2 doubles matches.

  • Omaha Gross Downs SSC 8-1:  Season Record 1-3
    Mike Dailey & Jon Pfeifer beat Rick H. & Chris D. in 3rd Doubles for the Cardinals lone win.
     

  • Omaha Skutt Topples the Cardinals 8-1:  Season Record is 1-2
    Jon Pfeifer beat Skutt's Brandon Draheim 8-5 in No. 6 Singles.
     

  • South Sioux City Tops Roncalli 9-0: Season Record 1-1
    Alex Bahney playing in No. 2 singles defeated Dylan Vadera 8-1. Jon Pfeifer won at No. 6 singles beating Billy Muckey 8-0.
    At No. 3 doubles play, Jon Pfeifer & Mike Dailey won 8-1 over Dan Egan & Ian Verisman

2005 Season Results & Highlights

  • South Sioux City Finishes 5th in RCC Tournament
    Cardinals scored 8 points.  No. 1 singles Justin Schoepf was 4th.  Justin Calvert was 5th in No. 2 singles.
    Drew Lane & Justin Bleil was 5th in No. 1 doubles.  Alex Bahney & Nic Peters were 5th in No. 2 doubles.
  • Omaha Skutt Gets Past SSC 6-3
    Skutt scored a 6-3 win with Drew Lahn, Justin Bleil, & Alex Bahney all getting singles wins for SSC
  • Omaha Gross tops the Cardinals 7-2
    Singles winner Justin Schoepf defeated Kelly K. 8-5 and Alex Bahney defeated Colin D. 8-5
  • SSC Blanks Omaha Roncalli 9-0:   Record 1-1
    Justin Schoepf won the no. 1 singles match & Schoepf & Justin Calvert won the no. 1 doubles match
 

2004 Season Results & Highlights

  • SSC 4th in RCC Tennis Tournament
         Team Scoring:  Omaha Skutt 29, Beatrice 26, Ralston 18, SSC 11, Omaha Gross 6, & Omaha Roncalli 2
    David Lane finished 3rd in #1 singles, Paul Koskovich 4th in #2 singles, Justin Schoepf & Landon Tondreau were 5th in #1 doubles, & Eric Swanson & Justin Bleil were 5th in #2 doubles.
  • Cardinals Nip Omaha Gross 5-4.  Record 3-2
    Leading SSC was Eric Swanson with a 8-1 win at the #5 Singles match & also teaming with Justin Bleil to win their #3 Doubles match 8-3.  Single match wins also came from Landon Tondreau & Justin Calbert.  Justin Schoepf teamed with Tondreau to get an 8-5 win in their doubles match.
  • Ralston defeats the Cardinals 7-2.  Record 2-2
    Landon Tondreau won his No. 3 singles match 9-7 and Eric Swanson & Justin Bleil won their doubles match 8-4.
  • Cardinals defeat Norfolk 5-4 - 1st Time Ever!  Record 2-1
    David Lane won his #1 singles match & then teamed up with Paul Koskovich to win their doubles match.  Justin Schoepf won his singles match and then with teammate Drew Lahn to win their #3 doubles match & clinch the team victory for SSC.  Landon Tondreau also won his match for SSC.
    It was the 1st time in school history that SSC has defeated Norfolk in tennis.
  • SSC blanks Omaha Roncalli, sweeping all 9 varsity matches.  Record 1-1
    Justin Bleil in singles, Landon Tondreau & Eric Swanson in doubles, & Justin Schoepf & Drew Lahn also in double all won their matches by scores of 8-0
    SSC JV also won all of their matches, going 3-0
