points & came in 2nd to Omaha Westside (115) in the
SSC Invitational Meet here on Friday, May 2nd. Many personal best
were recorded and a 23 year old school
record in the shot put was broken by Chris Krueger with a toss of 56' ½"
(previous record was 54' 7½").

Omaha Benson Invitational Track & Field Meet
- Senior Chris Krueger scored 2 Gold
Medals to lead the Cardinal Track & Field Team. Chris won the
shot put with a toss of 52 feet 10.5 inches (a meet record) and also won
the discus gold with a throw
of 144 feet 7.5 inches. The Cardinals scored a team total of 38
points with Krueger getting 20 of them.
Also scoring for the Cardinals was Tyler Clements who scored a 2nd place
finish in the 110 hurdles with
a time of 16.31 and a 3rd place finish in the 300 hurdles with a 41.54
seconds.
Zach Hanish jumped 6 foot 0 inches for a 5th place finish in the high
jump.
