Lady Cardinal Volleyball  split matches on Thursday, 11/7 in the NE Class B Districts.  SSC defeated Omaha Duchesne with scores of 13-15, 15-9 & 15-7.  Their season ended with a lost to Elkhorn by scores of 15-6 & 15-5.  Their final record for the year was 10-18.

Stats Vs. Omaha Duchesne:  In the serving department, Lacey M. was a perfect 15 for 15 with 2 aces.  Joy R. was 11 of 12, also with a pair of aces.  Amber E. came up with 12 serve receptions & Sara G. with 11.  Lacee M. recorded 25 assists.  Molly H. & Lacey M. each contributed 11 kills and Amber E. added 13 digs.  Joy R. had 11 digs & Lacey M. added 10.  Sara G. contributed 4 blocks in the win.

Stats Vs. Elkhorn:  Lacey M. contributed with 6 kills & 8 digs in the lost to Elkhorn.  Brittni L. was perfect in the serving department going 8 for 8 and also had 8 serve receptions.  Joy R. was 4 of 5 serving and had 7 serve receptions.  Setter Lacee M. contributed 10 assists.
 

Lady Cardinal Volleyball  split matches on Saturday, 11/2 in the River Cities Conference Tournament.  SSC lost to Omaha Skutt by scores of 9-15 & 5-15.  They bounced back for a win against Omaha Duchesne with scores of 15-9 & 15-2.  Their record is now 9-17 on the season.

Stats Vs. Omaha Skutt:  Brittni L. & Lacey M. were both perfect with their serving, with Brittni have 2 aces & Lacey adding 1.  Lacee M. was 6-for-7 serving with an ace & contributed 9 assists.  Molly H. added 6 kills to the SSC attack.  Stephanie C. & Sara G. each had 4 digs defensively with Sara adding 2 blocks.

Stats Vs. Omaha Duchesne:  In the serving dept. Lacee M. was 10-for-11 with 2 aces, Stephanie C. was 10-for-12 with 4 aces, and Amber E. went 8-for-9 with a pair of aces.  Setter Lacee M. contributed 24 assists.  Lacey M. led the way with 14 kills offensively for the Lady Cardinals.  Defensively, Stephanie C. had 10 digs.

 

Lady Cardinals split matches on Tuesday, 10/29.  SSC lost to Ralston by scores of 15-12, 10-15, & 13-15.  They bounced back for a win against Elk Point-Jefferson with scores of 13-15, 15-9, & 15-8.  Their record is now 8-16 on the season.

Stats Vs. Ralston:  Molly H. slammed 15 kills & Lacey M. added 12 kills.  Setter Lacee M. had 37 assists & Joy R. also added 7 kills.  Lacee M. contributed 4 aces with Amber E. & Brittni L. each having 2 aces.  Defensively, Amber E. had 15 digs & 3 blocks, Lacey M. had 18 digs, Lacee M. had 17 digs, & Sara G. added 16 digs.  Molly H. led the way with 7 blocks.

Stats Vs. Elk Point-Jefferson:  Lacee M. led the way in serving going 14 of 15 with 5 aces.  Amber E. was 15 of 17 with 4 aces, & Sara G. was 21 of 21 serving with an ace.  Lacee M. had 17 assists,  Molly H. had 13 kills, Joy R. supplied 11 digs.  Amber E. also had 22 digs in the win vs. EP-J.
 

Lady Cardinal Volleyball  split matches on Saturday, 10/26.  SSC defeated Oakland-Craig by scores of 15-0 & 15-8.  They lost to Wisner-Pilger by scores of 10-15 & 2-15.  Their record is now 7-15 on the season.

Stats Vs. Wisner-Pilger:  Brittini L. was 8-for-8 serving with 1 ace, Joy R. was 5-for-5 with an ace, & Amber E. was 5-for-7 with an ace.  Setter Lacee M. added 10 assists.  Lacey M. had 5 kills, Stephanie C. had 4 kills, & Molly H. added 3 kills.  Defensively, Amber E. had 3 blocks & 3 digs, Lacee M. had 7 digs, Brittini L. had 6 digs, and Molly H. added 3 blocks

Stats Vs. Oakland-Craig:  Joy R. went 15-for-16 in the serving dept. with 3 aces, Sara G. was 5-for-5, and Brittini L. went 8-10 with an ace.  Setter Lacee M. recorded 13 assists.  Molly H. had 7 kills, Lacey M. 6 kills & 6 digs, Joy R. had 5 digs, & Sara G. added 4 digs.  Molly H. had the lone block for SSC.
 

The Lady Cardinals Volleyball team swept Omaha Roncalli 2-0 with winning scores of 15-7 & 15-6 on Tuesday, 10/22.  The win raised their season record to 6-14 on the year.

Stats Vs. Omaha Roncalli:  Stephanie C. & Molly H. had 7 kills each.  Lacey M. had 6 kills, 7 digs, & 3 blocks.  Lacee M. had 24 set assists.  Joy R. had 5 digs and Molly H. added 2 blocks.  Amber E. led the way in the serving department going 10-for-11 with 2 aces, Jenny G. was 7-for-7 with an ace, and Brittni L. was 8-for-9 with an ace and 5 digs.
 

The Lady Cardinals Volleyball team swept Sioux City West High School 3-0 with winning scores of 15-6, 15-8, & 15-5 on Sat. 10/19.  The win raised their record to 5-14 on the season.

Stats Vs. West High:  Stephanie C. had 10 kills & Molly H. added 9.  Lacee M. recorded 17 assists & Amber E. added 5 assists. Joy R. contributed 6 kills & 7 digs.  In serving Amber E. went 12-for-12 with 1 ace, Brittni L. was a perfect 8-for-8 with one ace, & Joy R. was 10-for-11 with 3 aces.  Brittni L. added 8 digs and Amber E. added 4 digs.  Stephanie C., Molly H., & Lacey M. each recorded 4 blocks.
 

The Lady Cardinals go 1-1 in a Triangular with North & Heelan.  They defeated Sioux City North by scores of 7-15, 15-12, 16-14, & 15-10.  They then lost to 9th ranked Heelan by scores of 4-15, 5-15, & 2-15.
The Lady Cardinals Record is now 4-14 on the season.

Stats Vs. Sioux City North:  Lacee M. led in the serving dept. going 19-for-22 with 4 aces and Amber E. went 12-for-13, Lacee M. had 34 assists vs. North with Lacey M. & Molly H. having 17 & 14 kills respectively

Stats Vs. Sioux City Heelan:   Lacee M. again led the way in serving going 8-for-8 with 2 aces.  Amber E. was 5-for-6 and Lacey M. was 4-for-5.  Lacee M. had 8 assist in the loss with Molly H. & Lacey M. having 5 & 3 kills respectively
 

In the Omaha Mercy Volleyball Tournament the Lady Cardinals defeated Omaha Duschene by scores of 15-7 & 17-15.  They lost to host Omaha Mercy (14-16 & 9-15) and to Omaha Bryan (8-15 & 11-15).  The Lady Cardinals are now 3-13 on the season.

Playing in the East Invitational volleyball tournament, the Lady Cardinals went 0-3 in pool play.  They lost to Sioux City East High School (16-21 & 13-21), Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln (10-21 & 11-21), and Southern Cal (22-24 & 18-21).  A tough tournament for the Cardinals facing many ranked opponents in the tournament.

The Lady Cardinal Volleyball team scored a split in a triangular hosted by Omaha Gross.  They lost to Omaha Gross by scores of 5-15 & 4-15.  They followed that up with a sweeping victory over Omaha Duschene with scores of 15-2 & 15-8.  With the spilt their record improves to 2-8 on the season.

Lady Cardinal Volleyball lost to Ralston by a pair of  scores of 7-15.  Schuyler also defeated the Lady Cardinals 2-1, with scores of 14-16, 14-7, & 13-15.  Record is now 1-7
