  • NE Class B District Volleyball Play:
    Lady Cardinals Fall in District Semi-Final Match vs. Omaha Skutt  [ Season Record 16-10 ]
    Omaha Skutt Downed SSC 21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-23
    Leading SSC was Sara Gotch with 16 kills, Lacey Muirhead with 13 kills, Joy Rager contributed 8 kills, & Kayla Miller added 6 kills. Lacee Murtaugh had 26 assists.  Muirhead led the Cardinals with 19 digs, Murtaugh had 18 digs, & Brittni Likes added 17 digs.  Defensively, Rager led the way with 9 blocks, Muirhead with7 blocks, & Gotch had 6 blocks.  In the serving dept. Joy Rager went 15 of 16 with 1 ace, Estochen went a perfect 14 of 14, as did Gotch with 11 of 11. 
    Cardinals Win 1st Round Match vs. Omaha Roncalli 25-13, 25-11, & 25-15 [ Record 16-9 ]
    Leading SSC was Lacey Muirhead with 19 kills & she added 11 digs. Lacee Murtaugh contributed 34 assists, Joy Rager 7 kills & 16 digs, Amber Estochen 7 kills, Kayla Miller 6 kills, & Sara Goth 5 kills.
  • RCC Tourney Results:   Cardinals Place 5th  Overall Record:  [ Record 15-9 / 4-4 RCC ]
    Lady Cardinals Sweep Omaha Duschesne 25-12, 25-17, & 25-12  [ Record 15-9 / 4    -4 RCC ]
    Lacee Murtaugh had 27 assists. Lacey Muirhead & Joy Rager each had an ace serve.  Muirhead had 14 kills & 9 digs, Rager had 8 kills, 8 digs, & 2 blocks.  Kayla Miller also had 2 blocks.
    Omaha Skutt Gets Past SSC 18-25, 25-20, 25-22, 11-25, & 11-15   [ Record 14-9 / 3-4 RCC ]
    Brittni Likes was 20 of 21 serving  with 3 aces to lead SSC.  Lacee Murtaugh was 23 of 23 serving with 1 ace & contributed 43 assists & 29  digs.  Joy Rager & Kelsey Troth each had 12 kills to lead the attack for the Cardinals.  Sara Gotch added 11 kills & 7 blocks.  Amber Estochen contributed 2 blocks & 28 digs.
  • Cardinal Volleyball Sweeps Elk Point-Jefferson 25-12, 25-20, & 25-15 [ Record 14-8 ]
    Offensively SSC was led by Lacey Muirhead & Sara Gotch each with 9 kills, Joy Rager added 8 kills.  Setter Lacee Murtaugh contributed 23 assists & Amber Estochen went 12 of 14 in the serving dept. with 4 aces.  Brittni Likes was 12 of 16 serving with 3 aces.  Defensively, Murtaugh led the way with 10 digs, Gotch added 7 digs & 9 blocks, & Rager had 7 digs.  SSC got 4 blocks apiece from Kayla Miller & Estochen.
  • Lady Cardinals Win SSC Tourney - Defeat Wisner-Pilger 25-22 & 31-29 [ Record 13-8 ]
    In the offense dept., Lacey Muirhead led SSC with 18 kills & Sara Gotch with 16 kills.  Lacee Murtaugh contributed 32 assists.  Amber Estochen & Muirhead each recorded 5 blocks & Brittni Likes added 10 digs
  • Cardinals Sweeps Laurel-Concord 25-13 & 25-15 in Tourney 2nd Round  [ Record 12-8 ]
    Defensively SSC was led by Lacey Muirhead & Rachel Heeney each had 6 digs.  Muirhead also added 10 kills for the Lady Cardianls
  • SSC Sweeps Oakland-Craig 25-17 & 25-20 in SSC Tourney 1st Round  [ Record 11-8 ]
    Offensively, Lacey Muirhead & Kayla Miller each recorded 7 kills and Lacee Murtaugh contributed 22 assists.  Defensively, Gotch & Muirhead each had 2 blocks & Murtaugh had 9 digs
  • Cardinal Volleyball Sweeps Sioux City West  [ Record 10-8 / 3-3 RCC ]
    Offensively, Lacey Muirhead led SSC with 7 kills, Joy Rager had 4 kills, & Sara Gotch added 4 kills. Lacee Murtaugh contributed 24 assists.  In the serving dept. Rachel Heeney was a perfect 10 of 10 with 2 ace serves and Rager was 8 of 8 with 1 ace. Murtaugh added 8 digs, Heeney 7 digs, & Brittni Likes had 7 digs.  Defensively, Kelsey Troth added 2 blocks for SSC.

    Lacey Murihead had 14 kills, Amber Estochen 18 digs, Lacee Murtaugh 37 assists, & Sara Gotch had 6 blocks

    Joy Rager had 7 kills, Lacey Muirhead 6 kills, Sara Gotch 6 digs & 2 blocks, Brittni Likes & Lacee Murtaugh each had 5 digs, Rachel Heeney had 3 ace serves & Rager had 2 ace serves.

    Lacey Muirhead had 10 kills & 5 blocks, Kelsey Troth had 6 kills, Joy Rager 5 digs, Brittni Likes 2 ace serves, Lacee Murtaugh was 8 of 8 serving, & Murtaugh also had 20 assists.

    Offensively, SSC was led by Lacey Muirhead with 16 kills & Sara Gotch with 11 kills.  Serving, Joy Rager was 11 of 11 with 1 ace and Amber Estochen was 11 of 12. Defensively, Brittni Likes had 15 serve receptions & Joy Rager 12.  Rachel Heeney had 13 digs, Rager 11, & Lacee Murtaugh 10.  Muirhead & Gotch each had 3 blocks.

    Serving was led by Rachel Heeney & Lacee Murtaugh, each going 8 for 8 and Amber Estochen who went 9 of 11 with 3 aces. Offensively, Kelsey Troth had 8 kills, Lacey Muirhead had 4 kills, & Kayla Miller 2 kills. Defensively, Muirhead & Miller each had 3 blocks.
  • Omaha Gross beats the Lady Cardinals - 24-26, 25-13, 25-21  [ Record 4-6 / 2-3 in RCC ]
    Lacee Murtaugh led SSC in the serving dept. going 15 of 15 with 1 ace - Amber Estochen was 12 of 12, Sara Gotch 10 of 10, & Joy Rager was 9 of 9.  Kelsey Troth had 9 kills, Lacey Muirhead had 7 kills, & Kayla Miller added 4 kills.  Defensively, Rager & Muirhead each contributed 5 blocks, with Miller adding 4.
  • Ralston defeats Lady Cardinals - 16-25, 25-23, 25-19  [ Recrod 4-5 / 2-2 in RCC ]
    In the serving dept. Amber Estochen was 11 of 12 with 2 aces, Rachel Heeney was 8 of 8, & Brittni Likes was 8 of 10.  Joy Rager, Lacey Muirhead, Kelsey Troth, & Sara Gotch all had 6 kills for the Lady Cardinals
  • Schuyler just gets past SSC - 25-16, 21-25, & 25-21  [ Record 4-4 / 2-1 in RCC]
    Leading the way for SSC was Joy Rager going 16 of 16 with one ace in the serving dept. Setter Lacee Murtaugh had 28 assists & added 15 digs.  Offensively, Kelsey Troth led the Cardinals with 9 kills and adding 5 kills each were Lacey Muirhead, Sara Gotch, & Rager.
  • Lady Cardinals dominate Omaha Roncalli - 25-11, 25-18, & 25-15  [ Record 4-3 / 2-1 in RCC ]
    Joy Rager led the way offensively for SSC with 9 kills, Sara Gotch added 8 kills, & Kelsey Troch & Kayla Miller each contributed 5 kills.  In the serving dept. Brittni Likes went 12 of 13 with 2 aces, Rager was 10 of 10, & Gotch added 2 aces on 8 of 8 serving.  Lacee Murtaugh dished out 30 assists.  Defensively, Rager had 12 digs, Rachel Heeney had 11 digs, & Sara Gotch added 10 digs & 2 blocks.
  • SSC sweep Sioux City West - 25-16, 25-18, & 25-12  [ Record 3-3 ]
    Leading the way for the Lady Cardinals was Kelsey Troth with 8 kills.  Joy Rager, Amber Estochen,
    & Sara Gotch each contributed 4 kills in a balanced offensive attack.  In the serving dept. Lacee Murtaugh was 14 of 16 with 3 aces & Amber Estochen was 12 of 15 with 2 aces.  Defensively, Kayla Miller & Murtaugh each had 2 blocks.  Murtaugh added 8 digs for the Cardinals.

    Leading SSC in the serving dept. was Lacee Murtaugh going 19 of 19 with 2 aces, Joy Rager was
    13 of 14 with an ace, & Sara Gotch was 10 of 10. Offensively, SSC was led by Joy Rager with
    8 kills & Kelsey Troth added 7 kills.  Defensively, Rager led the Cardinals with 12 digs & 4 blocks.
  • Beatrice gets past the Cardinals by a score of 25-19 & 26-24  [ Record 1-3 / 0-1 in RCC ]
    Joy Rager was 9 of 9 serving, Lacee Murtaugh, Lacey Muirhead, & Brittni Likes were all 6 of 6.
    Rager also contributed 6 kills, 6 digs, & 2 blocks. Muirhead & Sara Gotch added 6 digs.
