Norfolk Invitational
I think only Coach Carlson and myself
knew how tough this meet was going to be. I'm sure it surprised our
kids just how good the best in the State are. We also saw course
records from Nate Preston and Ramsey Kavan. Over the years a number
of State Champions have run on this course so the records were
impressive. A nice thing is they will both run at our Invitational
so people can come out and watch them while supporting our teams. We
were disappointed to have not finished higher in the boys varsity
race. It's only our second meet of the season and for many of our
kids the first or second race of their career. The JV runners ran a
very competitive against some good teams. Our plan is to keep
getting better each week and learn to enjoy our training. We still
think we will be competitive in the Conference and District Meets.
