Author and illustrator Mike Artell visited the South Sioux City
Elementary Schools May 2-4. He was greeted with great enthusiasm by
staff and students alike. His program was entertaining, informative,
and much too short! The students applauded his reading of Petite
Rouge - complete with Cajun accent, giggled through repeating
his tongue twisters, were amazed at their own artistic ventures into
cartooning with Mike's help, and "ewwwed" their way through
Backyard Bloodsuckers. |
