Mrs. Wasmund organized this year's program while Mrs. LaFleur and Ms. Luhr took charge of events for September. The theme was "apples," and students who participated in the program were able to cast votes for the "apple bobbing contestants." |

| The star "apple bobber" was Mr. Comstock who managed to grab one apple in a minute. Sorry to say, Mrs. Nugent came up empty. The real winners were the DC students who read a total of 32,000 minutes for September! | ||

2nd Grade is in charge of activities for October. The culminating activity is yet to be announced, but we have been assured it won't involve bobbing for pumpkins! | |
