Reverse Parade

published May 18, 2020

All South Sioux City Elementary Schools and the Middle School will be participating in a Reverse Parade on Thursday, May 21st from 2pm - 4pm.  A Reverse Parade is where the families will have the opportunity to drive by their school and wave or hold up signs for the school teachers and staff.  We all wish we could end the 2019-2020 school year in the normal fashion, but that is just not going to be possible this year.  Hopefully this will help bring some closure to the end of the school year.

Social distancing will be strictly enforced!

  • Teachers and Staff will sit 6 feet apart along each building route wearing masks.
  • Families/students driving through are encouraged to wave and say, “HI” from their vehicles.
  • Please stay in vehicles.
  • Even though we may be tempted to interact, 6 feet of distance must be maintained at all times.
  • Middle School Students: There will be Library Book drop-off available. Please return your books.
