Emergency Response Procedures

The SSCS district takes staff and student safety with utmost sincerity. Our district has decided to adopt a new safety standard developed by the "I Love U Guys" foundation. All students and staff are trained to react accordingly to the standard response protocol. Please familiarize yourself with our updated standard response protocol so that you too know how to react in the event of an emergency. The standard is broken down into four different categories with an additional sub category:

  • Lockout - Secure the Perimeter
  • Lockdown - Locks, Lights, Out of Sight
  • Subcategory: Lockdown - Medical Emergency
  • Evacuate - To a location
  • Shelter - For a hazard, using a safety strategy
