6th Grade Chromebook Pickup

Beginning April 6, our Middle school will be converting to distance learning for grades 6-8.  Sixth grade students needing a device are asked to come to the Middle School Monday 10am-2pm or Tuesday 3pm-6pm to receive a district provided chromebook.  By accepting this device your student agrees to the acceptable use policy that will be included at the time of pickup. You are not required to get a chromebook if you have a device at home your student is able to use to connect to the internet.  It is very important for your student to have daily access to the internet. The high school parking lot has expanded WIFI access your students can access, please call the middle school office with questions 402-494-3061

The Middle School will begin online instruction beginning on Monday, April 6th. Students are expected to engage daily with their school work, teachers will be available to answer questions online 8-3:30pm. Our teaching staff has created flexible online lessons that will ensure students are continuing to meet Nebraska state standards.  Parents and guardians, encourage your students to complete the schoolwork their teachers have prepared.  We are doing everything we can to remove barriers in delivering instruction. If your internet access is limited, WIFI access has been expanded in the student parking lot of the high school.  Local internet providers are working to provide access specials as well, please call them to find options.

It is very important to continue to communicate through this time, our students have everything they need to get started in distance learning.  Please ensure that your child checks their email and google classrooms for this important work. If you have any questions, please call the Middle School Office at 402-494-3061 anytime from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
