Additional criminal charges recently filed against former assistant coach

The District is aware of additional criminal charges recently filed against Nate Rogers, a former assistant coach.  The District immediately terminated the coach’s employment upon learning of the allegations at the beginning of March.  The District has worked closely with law enforcement throughout this process.  The District will continue to assist law enforcement to ensure these serious allegations will not go unpunished. The District continues to provide supports and counseling for students who wish to talk to someone about this matter. We are committed to the safety of our students and expect all staff to adhere to the highest ethical practices and conduct. We will not tolerate behaviors that compromise the safety of our students.

• Any adult who you trust in the building
• School Counselors (past or present)
• School Administrators (past or present)
• Cardinal Time Teacher 

Additionally, you have the ability to submit information confidentially using the “Let’s Talk” feature on our school website.  You can submit your information confidentially or by using your name.  Please note that information received anonymously will be delivered to the appropriate administrative staff, but we are unable to provide a response because of the anonymity of the submission.

 

We are very troubled by this incident, and we want to assure you that the alleged acts do not in any way align with the values or character of our school or district.  The district is cooperating fully with law enforcement and the legal process. We will take all measures necessary to ensure that our students are educated in a safe and nurturing environment.
