Big Bus No Big Deal

First Student would like to welcome the Siouxland area to come out to the South Sioux City High School on Friday June 25th and join us for our “Big Bus, No Big Deal” Event.  This will be held in the Student Parking Lot on the west side by the sports complex from 8am - 5pm.

Have you ever wanted to drive a School Bus? Have you ever wondered, Could I drive a big vehicle like that? Do you have kids who ride the bus, and want to see what its like to be a Bus Driver.

South Sioux City First Student would like you to come out and find the answers to these questions. We are currently hiring Bus Drivers for the SSC District, we would love to give you the shot to fill one of our Driver or Monitor Vacancies.

You must be 21 years of age, and have a valid clean driver’s license, and be ready to have a great time.  Kids are welcome to ride on the bus while their parent or guardian drives around the lot. We will of course have one of our fantastic and friendly trainers with you during your drive.

• Drivers are paid 19.50 an hour and paid for training and for you to acquire your CDL.
• Monitors are paid 14.50 an hour and are paid for training.

We have the buses on site and you will not leave the safety of the High School Parking Lot. We will provide free waters and Gatorade to keep you all hydrated on these hot summer days.
