FAFSA HELP SESSIONS 2024-2025

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an online form by the U.S. Department of Education to help colleges and career schools determine what federal money they can give you to help pay for school. The application must be completed every school year. The types of financial aid that you could receive from the FAFSA include grants like the Pell Grant, scholarships, work-study funds and student loans.

Help Sessions:

  • Saturday, January 11th, 1-3pm
  • Monday, January 13th, 6-8pm
  • Thursday, January 16th, 5-7pm
  • Thursday, January 23rd, 6-8pm
  • Tuesday, January 28th, 4-5pm
  • Wednesday, January 29th, 4-5pm

What to bring:

  • SSN & birth dates for parents and student(s)
  • 2023 W-2 Forms (Parent & Student)
  • 2023 Federal Tax Returns (Parent & Student)
  • FSA ID’s usernames & passwords
  • Any other 2023 financial documents

Location: Library - South Sioux City High School 3301 G Street, South Sioux City, NE 68776

Nebraska state law (Neb. Rev. Stat. §79-729) states that each public high school student shall complete or opt out of filing the FAFSA form before graduating high school beginning in the 2024-25 school year.
