Preschool Registration

The Cardinal Preschool is located at E.N. Swett Elementary School.  The South Sioux City Community School District is committed to providing a free preschool education to students who live in the community and have reached age 4 on or before July 31, 2023. 

Early Registration until Friday, February 17th! 

Please call or visit the registrar between 8:00am and 3:30pm Monday - Friday to get your child registered for Preschool.

The Registration Staff will be at EN Swett Preschool (2300 C Street) during Parent Teacher Conferences from 1:00pm - 7:00pm on the following Dates specifically for Early Preschool Registration:

• Wednesday, February 8th  1pm-7pm at EN Swett Preschool (2300 C Street)
• Thursday, February 9th 1pm-7pm at EN Swett Preschool (2300 C Street)

Please bring the following with you:                                                    

• Birth Certificate (not the hospital copy) 
• Immunization Record 
• 2 Proofs of Address must contain parent/guardian’s name (current lease or mortgage, utility bills, property tax) 
• Proof of Parenthood/guardianship (Birth certificate matches photo ID, Adoption Records, Foster Parent Records, Education Guardianship form)
