South Sioux City Community Schools will welcome Sara Rogers, an attorney with KSB School Law, on Wednesday, September 9, for a series of Digital Citizenship Assemblies with students in grades 5–12.

Rogers works with public school districts in Nebraska and South Dakota and will talk with students about what it means to be a responsible digital citizen. Her presentation will be tailored to each age group, using age-appropriate examples and conversations about online choices, social media, technology use and how digital decisions can affect themselves and others.

Assembly times in the Mini Dome are:

  • Middle School: 9:00–9:50 a.m.

  • 5th Grade: 10:30–11:20 a.m.

  • High School: 2:20–3:20 p.m.

Parents and guardians are welcome to attend. Guests should enter through Door 12 and check in at the office upon arrival.
