South Sioux City High School is proud to announce the selection of its cheerleading squads for the 2026–2027 school year.
These students were selected following a competitive tryout process and represent a strong commitment to teamwork, leadership, and Cardinal pride. Cheerleaders play a vital role in supporting our student-athletes, energizing our school community, and serving as ambassadors for South Sioux City Community Schools throughout the year.
The 2026–2027 program includes squads supporting football, boys and girls basketball, and junior varsity programs. A number of student leaders have also been selected to serve as captains, helping guide their teams and set the standard for performance, sportsmanship, and school spirit.
