Foundation Weight Training Program for 7th & 8th Grade


FOUNDATION PROGRAM
 “Athletes are in the business of efficient movement, and the best are incredible at controlling their body. Coordinated movement doesn’t come from something as simple as purely building muscle size. Muscles mean little individually without the ability to synchronize movement in the appropriate skill. Athletes that can move well aren’t always the most muscular and the most muscular guys don’t always move well.”

The Foundation program is a weight training program designed and taught by the high school strength staff.   Our goal for the Foundation program is to improve movement patterns in our future high school student-athletes and build strength within those patterns.   

WHO: 7th & 8th graders who participate in athletics

WHEN:   February 4 - Monday &  Wednesday
6:30 AM - 7:30 AM (Program will last 12 weeks)

WHERE: HIGH SCHOOL WEIGHT ROOM (Enter through Door 25 - Commons)

COST:  FREE to all 7th & 8th Graders

If you attend 90% of the session you will receive a free Card Power shirt.  Please bring appropriate clothes to workout in and then clothes to change into for school.
