Girls Basketball State Tournament Info

The SSC Lady Cardinal Basketball team will play in the 2024 Nebraska State Basketball Tournament in Lincoln on Thursday, February 29th at 1:30 PM in the Pinnacle Arena. The High School will not have classes on Thursday in order to allow students to attend.  The Middle and Elementary Schools will operate as normal.

We want to see students at State Basketball! High school students will not have class on Thursday.

Pep Bus and Ticketing

If students would like to attend the game and ride the pep bus, they will need to swing by Mrs. Horan's window in the main office and pay her $8.00. Students riding down on the pep bus will be required to ride home on the pep bus. The school will then purchase your ticket and have it for you once you get down to Lincoln. 

The Pinnacle Bank Arena is cashless, students will need a credit or debit card to purchase anything from there. If students want a sack lunch and are riding the pep bus you'll get that prior to loading the bus on Thursday. Please indicate that on the signup sheet with Mrs. Horan. 

Students need to be here by 9:00 am Thursday to get checked in and for those wanting a sack lunch. The bus will leave by 9:30am. If they are late, they will be left. 

DEADLINE: They have until 1:00 pm on Wednesday to be signed up and paid in order to go down on the pep bus.
