Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for 12 and up!

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine for the prevention COVID-19 to include adolescents 12 through 15 years of age. The Advisory Council on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine be approved for children 12 years and up.  

The CDC has adopted the recommendations and the Winnebago Public Health Department will begin vaccinating ages 12 and up with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at their next Community Vaccination Clinics.
