River Cities Conference Tournament:
South Sioux City finished 3rd as a team in the River Cities Conference Tennis Tournament. Aiden DeBuhr won the 3rd place medal at #1 Singles and Christian Perez won the 3rd place medal at #2 Singles. Tony Rodriguez and Max Mogensen finished 4th at #1 Doubles. Noah Meyers and Jesse Hanna also finished 4th at #2 Doubles. Keaton Ross finished 4th at #3 singles and Izaak and Dale Kolker finished 4th at #3 Doubles.
South Sioux City at Beatrice Invitational:
Pretty good day overall, Christian Perez is the Champion at #2 Singles! Aiden DeBuhr won 3 matches and got 3rd! Tony Rodriguez and Max Mogensen battled hard in the #1 Doubles division and Jesse Hanna and Noah Meyers played well against some tough competition in the #2 Doubles division.
Elkhorn North Tennis Invitational:
5th place finish as a team at Elkhorn North Invitational. Christian Perez finished 3-1 to get 3rd place at #2 Singles. Aiden DeBuhr got 4th at #1 singles, Tony Rodriguez and Max Mogensen finished 7th at #1 Doubles and Noah Meyers and Dale Kolker finished 8th at #2 Doubles.
Bellevue East 6 South Sioux City 3
On homecoming Friday we hosted Bellevue East. Wins came from Aiden DeBuhr at #1 singles and sophomore Noah Meyers at #6 singles. Aiden DeBuhr and Christian Perez also won in Doubles.
Skutt Catholic 9 South Sioux City 0
Despite losing to Skutt 9-0, we played really well. Aiden DeBuhr lost at #1 Singles 6-8 in a super competitive match. Christian Perez lost at #2 Singles 4-8, was down big early and battled back. Tony Rodriguez lost at #3 singles 5-8 in a really well played match. Jesse Hanna hung in at #4, losing 3-8.
